UNRWA has reopened the Al Naser Health Centre and started to provide primary health care services.

Every week, dozens of kitchens are providing hundreds of thousands of hot meals to people across Gaza – and in the north, the World Food Programme says it is working to expand capacity. Just this week WFP reopened a kitchen in Beit Lahiya that can produce 20,000 meals per day. The agency has also provided cash assistance to 90,000 people over the past two weeks.

In the last week, our partners have established more than 540 water delivery points in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, doubling access capacity within a week.

On Monday, the OCHA-managed Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) allocated US$30.2 million to address critical priorities outlined in the 2025 Flash Appeal. These funds will allow more lifesaving support to be provided to displaced people and returnees, including shelter, water, sanitation, health and protection.

Today, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) distributed nearly 100 metric tonnes of animal feed to herders across Deir al Balah and Khan Younis.

Today, the World Food Programme (WFP) delivered 152,000 litres of fuel to northern Gaza to support bread production at subsidized bakeries in Gaza city and WFP general operations. As of 3 February, 16 WFP-supported bakeries were operational across the Gaza Strip.

UNICEF continues to distribute ready-to-use complementary foods through its partners to prevent malnutrition through improving dietary diversity of children. They have reached more than 6,500 children under two years since the start of the ceasefire. In addition, WFP has reached more than 3,000 children and pregnant and breast-feeding women with nutrient supplement in North Gaza in the past two days.

Since the start of the ceasefire, nutrition partners have screened more than 30,000 children and identified 1,150 children with acute malnutrition. Out of the 1,150 children, 80 per cent have moderate forms of acute malnutrition and 20 per cent have severe forms of acute malnutrition. The proportion of children identified with malnutrition is higher in North Gaza governorate.
