oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthy Update

During January 2025, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) managed a total of 101 ongoing projects, totaling U$72.4 M million. These projects aimed to address urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (86 per cent) and the West Bank (14 per cent). The projects were strategically focused on Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items (NFI), Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Coordination and Support Services, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance and Nutrition, and Camp Coordination & Camp Management.

During December 2024, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) managed a total of 111 ongoing projects, totaling U$82.2 M million. These projects aimed to address urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (86 per cent) and the West Bank (14 per cent). The projects were strategically focused on Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items (NFI), Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Coordination and Support Services, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance and Nutrition, and Camp Coordination & Camp Management. Of these projects, 64 projects are being implemented by international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), 34 by national NGOs and 13 by UN agencies. Notably, 46 out of the 77 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN are being implemented in collaboration with national NGOs.

These projects aimed to address urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (89 per cent) and the West Bank (11 per cent). The projects were strategically focused on Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items (NFI), Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Coordination and Support Services, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance and Nutrition.

These projects aimed to address urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (91 per cent) and the West Bank (9 per cent). The projects were strategically focused on Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items (NFI), Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Coordination and Support Services, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance and Nutrition.

These projects aimed to address urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (90 per cent) and the West Bank (10 per cent). The projects were strategically focused on Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items (NFI), Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Coordination and Support Services, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance and Nutrition. Of these projects, 77 projects are being implemented by international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), 31 by national NGOs and 14 by UN agencies. Notably, 48 out of the 91 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN are being implemented in collaboration with national NGOs.

During March 2024, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 118 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 72.5 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (85 per cent) and West Bank (15 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, WASH, Coordination and Support Services, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance and Nutrition. Of these, 75 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 28 projects by national NGOs and 15 projects by UN agencies. Of the 90 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 51 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During February 2024, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 122 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 74.5 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (83 per cent) and West Bank (17 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, WASH, Coordina- tion and Support Services, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance and Nutrition. Of these, 77 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 29 projects by national NGOs and 16 projects by UN agencies. Of the 93 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 52 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.
