oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthy Update

  • February - 2018

    In February 2018, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 21 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 6.2 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (68 per cent) and West Bank (32 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and NFIs, WASH, protection, food security, and health.
    Of these, 9 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 7 projects by national NGOs and 5 projects by UN agencies. Of the 14 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 5 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

    In January 2018, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 26 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 7.1 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip ( 85 per cent) and West Bank (15 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and Non-Food Items, WASH, protection, food security, and health. Of these, 12 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 9 projects by national NGOs and 5 projects by UN agencies. Of the 17 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 7 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

    In December 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (OPT HF) had 38 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 10.1 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip ( 79 per cent) and West Bank (21 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and non-food items, WASH, protection, food security, and health. Of these, 15 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 16 projects by national NGOs and 7 projects by UN agencies. Of the 38 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 10 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and Non-Food Items, WASH, protection, food security, and health. Of these, 13 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 14 projects by national NGOs and six projects by UN agencies. Of the 19 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN,11 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and non-food items, WASH, protection, food security, and health. Of these, 13 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 14 projects by national NGOs and six projects by UN agencies. Of these 19 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN,12 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and non-food Items, WASH, protection, food security, and health. Of these, 11 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 12 projects by national NGOs and five projects by UN agencies. Of the 16 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN,11 were done so in partnership with NNGOs.

    In May 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (OPT HF) had 10 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 3.7 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (83 per cent) and West Bank (17 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items, WASH, Protection, Food Security, and Health. Of these, three projects are being implemented by international NGOs, two projects by national NGOs and five projects by UN agencies. Of them, three projects were implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

    In April 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 10 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 3.75 million addressing urgent needs in the West Bank (12 per cent) and Gaza Strip (88 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items, WASH, and Health. Of these, four projects are being implemented by international NGOs, one project is being implemented by a national NGO and five projects are being implemented by UN agencies. Of the total, four projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

    In March 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (OPT HF) had 14 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 4.6 million addressing urgent needs in the West Bank (25 per cent) and Gaza Strip (75 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH, and Protection. Of these, 8 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 2 projects are being implemented by national NGOs and 4 projects are being implemented by UN agencies. Of the total, 7 projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.
