oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthly Update

In October 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 37 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 8.6 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip ( 72 per cent) and West Bank (28 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and Non-Food Items, WASH, protection, food security, and health. Of these, 15 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 16 projects by national NGOs and 6 projects by UN agencies. Of the 37 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 11 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

In August 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 33 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 7.7 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (61 per cent) and West Bank (39 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of education, emergency shelter and Non-Food Items, WASH, protection, food security, and health. Of these, 13 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 14 projects by national NGOs and six projects by UN agencies. Of the 19 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN,11 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these 19 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN,12 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, three projects are being implemented by international NGOs, two projects by national NGOs and five projects by UN agencies. Of them, three projects were implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items, WASH, and Health. Of these, four projects are being implemented by international NGOs, one project is being implemented by a national NGO and five projects are being implemented by UN agencies. Of the total, four projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

Of these, 8 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 2 projects are being implemented by national NGOs and 4 projects are being implemented by UN agencies. Of the total, 7 projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

Of these, 9 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 2 projects are being implemented by national NGOs and 5 projects are being implemented by UN agencies. In total, 8 projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.
