oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthy Update

  • September - 2016

    In September 2016, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 23 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 6 million addressing urgent needs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH, Health and Protection. Of these, 16 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 4 projects are being implemented by national NGOs and 3 projects are being implemented by UN agencies . Of them, 13 projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

  • August - 2016

    In August 2016, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 25 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 6.5 million addressing urgent needs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH, Health and Protection. Of these, 18 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 4 projects are being implemented by national NGOs and 3 projects are being implemented by UN agencies . Of them, 15 projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

    In July 2016, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had 23 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 5.6 million addressing urgent needs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH, Health and Protection. Of these, seventeen projects are being implemented by International NGOs, including twelve in partnership with national NGOs; five projects are being implemented by National NGOs; and one project is being implemented by UN agency.

Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH and Protection. Of these, six projects are being implemented by international NGOs, including four in partnership with national NGOs; two projects are being implemented by National NGOs; and two projects are being implemented by UN agencies.

Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH, Education and Protection. Of these, nine projects are being implemented by international NGOs, including five in partnership with national NGOs; two projects are being implemented by National NGOs; and two projects are being implemented by UN agencies.

    In February 2016, the Humanitarian Pooled Fund in the occupied Palestinian territory (HPF oPt) has 15 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 3.8 million, addressing urgent needs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH, Education and Protection. Of these, 11 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, including six in partnership with national NGOs; three projects are being implemented by National NGOs; and one project is being implemented by a UN agency.

    In March 2016, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) has 14 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 3.7 million addressing urgent needs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH and Protection. Of these, 10 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, including five in partnership with national NGOs; two projects are being implemented by national NGOs; and two projects are being implemented by UN agencies.

  • January - 2013

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 6 project proposals (one related to Nov  2012 hostilities in Gaza, four related to the cold wave in January and one related to an epidemic in oPt) for a total amount of US$ 1,215,176. Three projects were approved to address needs for Wash, Health & nutrition, Agriculture, of  them 1 project implemented by UN agencies, , 1 project implemented directly by INGO, in addition to 1 projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs for total amount US$ 683,515?

  • February - 2013

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 13 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 2,519,336. Seven projects were approved to address needs for Wash, Health & nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education. Of them 1 project implemented by UN agencies,2 projects implemented directly by NNGOs,3 project implemented directly by INGO, in addition to 1 project implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs for total amount US$ 1,241,970

  • March - 2013

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received fourteen project proposals for a total amount of US$ 2,698,336. In 2013 fourteen projects have been approved to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education for total amount US$ 2,504,140. For the first time more projects implemented directly by National NGOs than international NGOs.

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 14 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 2,698,336. In 2013, 15 projects (five of them were received at the end of 2012) have been approved to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education for a total amount of US$ 2,752,609. Of the projects approved, six projects were implemented directly by NNGOs, five project implemented directly by INGOs, in addition to three projects implemented in partnership between national and international NGOs and one project implemented by a UN agency
