oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthy Update

  • May - 2013

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 18 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 3,367,693. In 2013, 18 projects have been approved to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education. Of the projects approved; sixteen projects were funded for total amount US$2,925,949. Of the projects approved, seven projects were implemented directly by NNGOs, five projects implemented directly by INGO, in addition to five projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs and one project implemented by UN agency.

  • June - 2013

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 21 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 3, 8 million .In 2013, 18 projects* have been approved to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education. Of the projects approved; sixteen projects were funded for total amount US$2,925,949. Of the projects approved, seven projects were implemented directly by NNGOs, five projects implemented directly by INGO, in addition to five projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs and one project implemented by UN agency.

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 23 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 4.4 million.In 2013, 18 projects* have been approved to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education for total amount US$3,2 million. Of the projects approved, seven projects were implemented directly by NNGOs, five projects implemented directly by INGOs, in addition to five projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs and one project implemented by a UN agency.

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 24 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 4.6 million. In 2013, 19 projects* have been approved to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education for total amount US$3,4 million . Of the projects approved, seven projects were implemented directly by NNGOs, five projects implemented directly by INGOs, in addition to  six projects implemented in partnership between national and international NGOs and one project implemented by a UN agency.

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 25 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 4.8 million (19 projects* have been approved to address needs for WASH, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education for a total amount US$3.4 million).Of the projects approved, six projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs.

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 27 project proposals for a total amount of US$5.3 million. 20 projects have been approved and funded to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education for total amount US$ 3,6 million. One project was approved in November and will start during December.

  • December - 2013

    Since the beginning of 2013, ERF in oPt has received 30 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 6.1 million. 21 projects have been approved and funded to address needs for Wash, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture, Protection and Education for total amount US$ 4 million. Of the projects approved, eight projects were implemented directly by national NGOs, five projects implemented directly by international NGOs, in addition to six projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs and two project implemented by UN agencies

  • January - 2014

    Since the beginning of 2014, ERF in oPt has received 30 project proposals in response to humanitarian emergency related to the Winter Storm (Alexa) in December 2013. Of them, 19 projects have been approved to address needs for WASH, Food Security sector and Emergency Shelter & NFI for total amount US$ 4.6 million. Of the projects approved, 13 projects were implemented directly by NNGOs, 3 projects implemented directly by INGOs, in addition to 2 projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs and 1 project implemented by UN agency

  • February - 2014

    Since the beginning of 2014, ERF in oPt has received 30 project proposals in response to humanitarian emergency related to the Winter Storm (Alexa) in December 2013. Of them, 22 projects have been approved (3 projects in February) to address needs for WASH, Food Security, Education, and Emergency Shelter & NFI for total amount US$ 4.9 million.

  • March - 2014

    Since the beginning of 2014, ERF in oPt has received 30 project proposals for total amount of US$ 6.8 million. Of them, 23 projects have been approved (1 project in March) to address needs for WASH, Food Security, Education, and Emergency Shelter & NFI for total amount US$ 5.1 million. Of the projects approved, 16 projects were implemented directly by NNGOs, 4 projects implemented directly by INGOs, in addition to 2 projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs and 1 project implemented by an UN agency

  • April - 2014

    Since the beginning of 2014, ERF in oPt has received 31 project proposals for a total amount of US$ 7 million (one proposal in April). Of them, 23 projects have been approved to address needs for WASH, Food Security, Education and Emergency Shelter & NFI for total amount US$ 5.1 million. Of the projects approved, 16 projects are being implemented directly by NNGOs, four projects implemented directly by INGOs, in addition to two projects implemented in partnership between National and International NGOs. One project is being implemented by a UN agency.
